We spent most of the day at this remarkable monastery/natural wonder/tourist attraction. The day consisted of a 1 1/2 hour train trip followed by a cable car up the mountain and later, an 820 foot funicular from there to a hiking trail which winds further up the mountain to the St Joan Chapel.
We enjoyed the cool mountain air, the people we met and walked with, and the attraction itself. A super day.

| La Moreneta - main reason for many to come up. She is incased in glass except for the ball which pilgrims touch. |
