A Saturday drive in Portugal

We drove to Loule to see where Bill and Kevin took off on their bike trip and to go to the public market. We took all back roads but still didn't go on any of the really back ones Bill and Kev rode on. It was still fun to see little villages and pass orange groves hanging with ripe fruit.
Old doors barely holding together.
Door knockers on the door

New door - same idea
Street in Loule

Hotel where Kevin and Bill spent their first night. Drove off the next day for  their nine day adventure,

Typical street in small-town Portugal. Around the corner from Hotel Jardin Loule
Wonderful old door.

We passed him on the road. No need for google translate, Baaaa sounds the same in Portuguese. He came running with his bell swinging madly. Was pretty disappointed that we had nothing to offer.
The plain walls serve as canvases for graffiti. It is a rare old building that isn't covered.

Found one. Isn't it wonderful? These are found in every field in Spain and Portugal. Some still occupied, most crumbling.
